At Barrington High School, there are lots of people. Yeah, lots. And, like all places where there are lots of people, Barrington has those dreadful stereotypes we call 'cliques.' Lots of them. Typical school, right? And at first glance, Barrington might seem like a typical high school with lots of cliques and no twist, except those skirmishes you get between opposing cliques over girls and parties and, well, life. But, as in most cases, this is not the case.
Matter of fact, Barrington is very different than a normal high school. You see, the students at Barrington all have something in common that binds them all to eachother, despite the stereotypes: At one point or another, they have had first-hand experiences with death. Though some were minor (not many), the majority were big losses, and on occasion, even the loss of an entire family. And, as you can imagine, that puts a little bit of a burden on their shoulders.
Some are still dealing with the paranoia, what with their losses being very emotional and life-changing. Some people, on the other hand, can deal with it and just have a need and desire to move on with their lives. Some people still have reason to believe they can make it big-time during the rest of their lives and are still chasing dreams over the rainbow. And, well, a very select few... Well, they have something to hide themselves, that involves a little thing called murder.
Despite their dramatic differences, the students of Barrington are united in death. And the drama is key. Because at Barrington High School, we're all heels over head, and drama reigns supreme.
